Feel Good Not Bad.

Have you ever been to a rummage sale and bought something so cheap that the person selling it tried to make you feel crummy?Well I have so let me share my event.Yesterday my husband and I went rummaging we had so much fun together,by the way any couples out there this is a great time to converse with your spouse. My husband stayed in the car while I went to this one rummage sale.I looked around and the prices were a bit high and I already spent enough money, I saw something I really liked and anyone that knows me I love cards, post cards, birth announcements, old or new,and there it was a unopened pack of It's A boy birth announcements ,it was only 10cents.When I gave the lady the dime she just looked at it like wow is that all?I went inside the car and told my husband and he said well thats too bad.I have been to other rummages and bought things really cheap and the seller and I would laugh at it and one lady said well there is something for everyone!Anyways I refuse to let that event ruin my beautiful day I was having so I just let go of it and went on.People I believe when we go through things like this while rummaging, talk about it and release it and feel good anyways.
Here are some things I bought yesterday.
Have a Happy Day!!!

Swapping!! Yes No Maybe!!

Hi all well here I am again!
I will announce the winner for the hankies on Friday the 10th 2008 and thanks for those that comment already.
Lets talk about swapping.I never knew about swapping until I've joined flickr.Ellia my daughter(greenbeanbaby)was the first one to introduced me to swaps and she let me be in one she hosted.I must admit that I was a little hesitate in gathering stuff together for my fist time partner.I was making sure I email to let her know who I was and asked her a few more question on things she liked. Now I like to packed my stuff and send them off as soon as possible and so was my partner and my first swap turned out well.I had swapped plenty of times afterwards and I even did personal ones.
There are people who are VERY disappointing in doing swaps, first of all they dont communicate well like in emailing, second they mail their stuff out way past the due date.On the last swap that Ellia hostess it was a very frustrating one for her and the people who were having problems with their swap partners, because of this sweetpeaswap hasn't had a swap in a long time.I think people need to be honest with themselves and not swap if they are overloaded and apologize if they made someone wait.I know things can happen and some people are legit in having some delays, but there are those that wont change and they dont care who they make wait.WE are now going to watch out who joins in any future swaps. On the most part for me,I have met so many awesome people and very, very kind and generous ones in swapping.
I want to take some time now to thank all the people who always been on time and been good communicators in swapping!!!!♥
Ok here are some photos of my finds.Bye have a great day!!

Blow Your Nose and Look Pretty!!

I love to buy vintage handkerchiefs and especially at very good prices. The photo you see with the hankies were bought at a store call the Bargain Center,it is a second hand store. Each one cost me only 35cents each. The photo of the clip on and twist on earrings varied in prices but still cheap, some were 25cents,10cents,1.75 and 1dollar.I bought the silver ones at the Bargain Center and the other 4 at a rummage sale. Now I dont wear clip on or twist on earrings cause they give me a headache for some reason,so you may ask why do I buy them? Here is why, when I shop I also think of other people that may like the stuff, like my daughters. I also have contacts on my flickr that wear those kind and maybe they would want to swap them for something they have.Ok now swapping is another subject that I will talk about on my next post.Bye for now!!!
Oh if you like to win these hankies leave a comment on here and tell me that you are interested on winning these!!!

Happy July 1st!!

Hi I would like to write about setting a budget plan for spending in thrift stores and rummage sales. I love going thrifting , rummaging or maybe both every week.It can be so much fun and therapeutic.Spending money these days is very different comparing to some years back because the price of living going up and of course there is taxes.I notice that some of the second hand stores prices has gone up so you need to check out the deals and go those days for example, the Value Villages here have half off everything Thursday,Fridays and Saturdays so I tried to go those days.I sometimes end up shopping on the days that its not half off but I will not just buy anything I see.I tried to buy inexpensive items but yet they are things I like. When you go rummaging also plan out not to spend a lot and remember there are other days and you might see something better and cheaper.
Keep in mind your pocket books and yet still have fun!!!
