Being Thankful!!

Hi everyone I would like to talk about being thankful.First let me start by saying thank you to all the people that read any part of my blog and for those who leave comments.
We are now in November and Thanksgiving day is this month for us.This is a time when most family get together and enjoy eating delicious, scrumptious, awesome homemade and even bought ready made meals.
I know that there are people who are obligated to be at their in laws or their own family for Thanksgiving. This can be a fun day to enjoy each others company or a day you may dread. This could be that day with that one person who gets under your skin or who are just big mouth , rude and thoughtless and I also will add very controlling.I learn through experience and learning to except me,that I don't have to be anywhere thats has a controlling atmosphere and a place I have to be in,while all along I am counting the minutes to leave.I know sometimes we all have to make sacrifice and thats ok if you do.What I am talking about is a cycle of events that happens every year and everytime you are miserable.Well after so many years I learn to say no and stay home and enjoy the company of my sweet loving husband.I learn that its ok to stay home and cook your own meals and invite anyone you want to your PLACE to eat if you want.
Thanksgiving is a time to reflect all the goodness and blessings in your life. This is also a time to share of yourself and give food to others who dont have a Thanksgiving meal to eat and need some friendly people to show them that they are important.
Let this Holiday be one you enjoy and make some changes!!
Have a great day!!

Hi, this is Andrea, an online friend of Ellia's. This was such a great, inspirational post. We sometimes hope for happy endings and often get dissapointed when people act rudely, contolling, etc. Perhaps I should try a new tradition and stay at home with the husband and only have the people who are truly loving there. Thanks goodness my mom is one of them, or else who would make the turkey!?!?!?! Hahaha. Nice to meet you. Besos.
